Use a large mug because the water can bubble up in the microwave
They can be mixed up in advance for an even speedier meal
Cooking time will vary greatly depending on your microwave and the width and depth of the mug

You can bake them in the oven at 350oF (180oC) for roughly 10-12 minutes. However every mug is different so I advise checking on it after 10 and then make a call.

Hi Gemma! Thank you for these mug meals, a million times over again! This recipe, in particular, is simply amazing! I did a few things different from the original recipe you have posted. I used 92% xxlean ground beef (from a cow we had butchered from an organic farm),in place of sausage. And I also combined 4%milk fat cottage cheese, Kraft grated parmesan, dried parsley, and a bit of salt in the food processor until (kind of)similary the consistency of ricotta..In place of ricotta. And I really cant believe how delicious it is..but mostly how quick and easy!! Thank youRead more »

I found this recipe while reading through your mascarpone cheese instructions. You noted that cheese could be used in this recipe. This is probably obvious to all but me, but, does it replace the ricotta and in the same amount?

What would one do if they wanted to make mug recipes in an 9×13 pan. The recipe I was wondering about was the mug lasagna, mug chocolate brownies and your mug cakes – is their a way to make more ingredients and put them in a 9×13 pan. I cook for 5 people so that is why I’m needing more than just one mug meal.
